Shopping experience was good. Out of sale item but grocery manager gave us a replacement item.
Also I noticed someone else mentioned the weird lighting. I completely agree, it is strange.
Bottle redemption is a total joke! Signs everywhere stating a two bag limit but people with multiple grocery carts full of returnable as allowed to take up all the time available. When someone came to take care of a full machine, he was gone so fast afterwards he didn't even take care of other issues. Then your stuck ringing the bell FOREVER!!!!
Great selection of flowers to make arrangements with, enjoyed shopping here during my visit. There was an excellent selection of seafood, wine and everyday grocery needs. Thank you!
Save your time and money. The produce is often old and wilted. I have found rotten and moldy fruit too many times to shop here. The rest of the food is overpriced and too close to the expiration date, sometimes long past. I have seen this at other Shaws stores before. I don't have a lot of patience for sifting through old food to find the fresh stuff.
I go to this Shaws because the staff at Mill Creek Hannaford are more often then not really rude. Shaws employees are usually too stonded to be mean but they are by no means speedy. Meh, it's a grocery store, could be worse.
Shaw's has items not found in other grocery stores. Their fish are outstanding. Great deli, too. They do need to hire more people.
There are some decent people that work there, but a lot of the employees just seem miserable and rude. I think some of those people are actually the ones in charge. Unless Hannaford falls into the ocean, I don't think I will visit here ever again.
