We loved the Lodge Room! It had everything we needed and was so cozy. and away from all the noise of a usual hotel room. We felt right at home as we live in a log home. Really decorated very nice and very clean! Would 100% stay in this room again.
I was upgraded after the front desk staff learned I was traveling alone on my birthday. They even found a piece of cake for me! I was upgraded to a beautiful suite, the room was amazing. Breakfast was full buffet, make your own waffles and lots of choices. Outdoor pool is heated and open year round, indoor hot tub with waterfall and a kiddie pool.
Great value for the price. Check in and check out were a breeze, very friendly staff. Room was clean and very nicely furnished. No complaints. I'd stay here again, and highly recommend.
We would highly reccomend this Best Western... PS another stay in October 2017, and the Merry Manor continues to be a gem. They do it all right. Quality and caring staff. Clean rooms, and one of the best breakfast found anywhere. Kudos to all of them. Thanks, Harry
This Best Western is conveniently located as you come off the Maine Turnpike into South Portland. The room was very nice. The breakfast is far more than a continental one you get in other hotels. The restaurant at dinner was excellent. The hotel and restaurant staff were awesome. Beware of the Banquet Sales office.
This is a GREAT place to stay. The room is clean, and the property clean, but it is the people of the staff that make this such an amazing place to stay. They do a tremendous job in allowing the guest to feel welcomed and valued. They are the "real deal", and we can't say enough good about them. One of the signs of this, is that the staff are long time employees. They are not only doing something right, but like their job. It is not always easy dealing with a demanding public, but these folks go the extra mile.
