TV worked well, beds were comfortable and room looked clean. Front desk was helpful about providing extra towels when we asked. Average hotel breakfast.
Location is great if you need to be close to the airport, and don't want to spend as much for downtown Portland. It is also only 15 minutes from downtown. The room was incredibly clean and the bed is comfortable. The walls however, are very thin. We could hear our neighbors on both sides just talking. Luckily it wasn't so loud that it kept us awake. There was also no place to hang towels by the sink, and our sink drain was semi clogged. We didnt spend much time here so it was fine for the night!
Clean, modern, comfortable. Easy to find and close to the mall and plenty of restaurants. Nice breakfast included as well. The staff was really nice too.
As a guest at this hotel on Saturday, November 18, I overheard a maintnence person direct apalling racial slurs towards a houskeeper. While my stay at this establishment was otherwise acceptable, I was shocked at this interaction and am otherwise unable to recommend this location to other potential travelers. Hopefully management will address this situation so that future guests will not be confronted with such displays. I would also hope that this one man's actions do not speak to the culture of this hotel chain as a whole.
I was very happy with my stay at the Comfort Inn. It was during the power outage taking place all over the area. I couldn't find a place to stay. Everything was booked and I was alone with two small dogs! My husband was out of town. I didn't know what to do. I was so grateful and relieved to find a clean comfortable room in a town that was so in need of hotel accommodations because of the power outages. The staff gave me a room very near the lobby so I could easily take my dogs out for walks. I also felt safe being so close to the lobby. I loved having running water and a hot shower. It was the best! And then, the best part was that I found out that my electricity at home had come back on after the check out time but wasn't charged for an extra night. The staff was so accommodating. I am truly grateful.
