I am a rewards member and I'm disgusted. First of all, we got put in a handy cap room. There was no need for that. So we didn't have an actual bathtub. Second, upon arrival the host made an extremely rude gender bias comment about I (being female) not paying for the room. I handed him the card, but had to wait for my boyfriend to park so he could sign the receipt. The host said something along the lines of 'hes good for something and he knows his role '. Wow, good to know gender roles are expressed freely here. And third, our towels in the room had toothpaste on them from the previous stay. All i can say is good luck to this hotel because you'll certainly need it!
Service was very friendly, rooms were nice and clean. I wasn't a guest but I was visiting guests who were staying there. Not a bad place. Super convenient to everything and about half way in between Portland and the Maine Mall.
Wow! What a great hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Everyone we encountered was so nice. Check in was incredibly fast and friendly. The whole hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained with great facilities. Our room was really comfortable, modern and well designed with plenty of room for lounging. Great sheets and beds as well! Also used their Landry and fitness facilities as well as the indoor and spa pool. All great and in top shape. The kicker was the beautiful outdoor seating area/garden with a fire pit and gazebo so you can enjoy the beautiful Maine weather!
The rooms and the staff of this place absolutely Rock! The owners are fantastic, and everyone seems genuinely eager to please. Definitely one of the best Marriott's I've ever stayed at.
This hotel is just off the 95N ramp before 295. About 10 mins' drive to Portland. The downstairs lobby is eclectic, but strangely uninviting - it feels more corporate than cozy. There are no coffee or water dispensers, and no fruit. The pool, whirlpool, and gym seem like they were first constructed 10 years ago, and left to slowly decay. Rooms are clean and smell fine; the main space needs another mirror, and cobwebs / hairs more closely brushed away from the ceiling. Satellite TV a nice touch. Overall, a solid B-.
